Minister Nemcha Kipgen felicitated in Kangpokpi

M David Thangal, chairman of the village authority, recalled how they had earlier prayed for the minister. He also recalled how Minister Nemcha Kipgen never showed any discrimination towards their village but rather gave equal treatment.

Denizens of Yaikongpao (Tagaramphung) village in Kangpokpi district felicitated Minister Nemcha Kipgen on Thursday. The felicitation ceremony was organised by Yaikongpao (Tagaramphung) village authority.

In his welcome address, M David Thangal, chairman of the village authority, recalled how they had earlier prayed for the minister. He also recalled how Minister Nemcha Kipgen never showed any discrimination towards their village but rather gave equal treatment.

The village chairman stated that though the Minister did not ask for votes in the recently concluded election, the villagers collectively decided to vote for her considering her true leadership and sense of unity, peace, and harmony among all communities.

The congregation led by Rev M Lungtu, Pastor, Tagaramphung Baptist Church with the church leaders and elders had a mass thanksgiving and blessing for the minister while the village authority, the Church, women's society, and youth presented the Minister with beautiful gifts.

Speaking at the occasion, Minister Nemcha Kipgen emotionally said, ‘No words can describe how deeply grateful she was towards the people of Yaikongpao for their immense love, prayer and blessing.’

Inspiring the denizens of Yaikongpao village to maintain their hospitality, love, and concern, the Minister said that love is instrumental in having a cordial relationship as it can only bind us all together as one family. She also assured to work for the welfare of and inclusive growth and development of her people and state.
