Minister Nemcha kicks off ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in Kangpokpi

BJP Sadar Hills on Wednesday kicked off the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav by organizing a bike rally and football exhibition matches in Kangpokpi district.

The event was held at Dreamland Football Turf, Champhai while the bike rally was held along the National Highway-2 from Kangpokpi District Headquarters and culminated at Champhai.

Minister for Textiles, Commerce, and Industry and Cooperation, Nemcha Kipgen, graced the event as Chief Guest while BJP Manipur Pradesh Vice President, N.Nimbus Singh, who is also the chairman of Khadi and Village Industries, and BJP Manipur Pradesh Secretary, Paokam Haokip, who is also in-charge of BJP Sadar Hills, attended as Guest of Honour and Functional President respectively.

The minister and other dignitaries were accorded a warm welcome with a slogan, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai", "BJP Zindabad", "Pi Nemchaji Zindabad", "Pu Nimbusji Zindabad", etc.

The BJP Sadar Hills 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign was formally kicked off by Minister Nemcha Kipgen in the presence of other dignitaries, including BJP Sadar Hills President Thangjamang Kipgen, BJP Mandal president of Kangpokpi, Saitu, and Saikul, and other BJP leaders and Karyakartas.

Minister Nemcha Kipgen said that the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is an initiative of PM Narendra Modi to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and hoist it to mark the 75th year of India's independence.

She continued that bringing the tricolor home collectively as a nation will be symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building.

The idea behind the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian national flag, she added.

N Nimbus Singh also spoke on the occasion motivating the people to work in their respective fields with a nationalism mindset.
