Mercury dips further to 4.58 degree Celsius in Manipur

Senapati district recorded the lowest temperature of 4.58 degree Celsius while its maximum was 24.11 degree Celsius.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in Manipur on Saturday as the minimum temperature dropped further to 4.58 degree Celsius from 5.4 degree Celsius on Friday, while the maximum temperature was 28.84, according to the climate change cell of the state Directorate of Environment and Climate Change.
 
Senapati district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 4.58 degree Celsius and the highest maximum temperature of 28.84 degree Celsius was recorded in Tengnoupal district on Saturday. On Friday, the lowest minimum temperature of 5.4 degree Celsius was recorded in Churachandpur district while the maximum temperature of 29.84 degree Celsius was recorded in Noney district.

The temperature in several parts of the state dipped further on Saturday.

In Bishnupur district, the minimum temperature was 8.71 degree Celsius, a fall from 9.12 degree Celsius on Friday, while the day warmed up a little to a maximum of 26.16 degree Celsius from 25.64 degree Celsius on Friday.

The minimum temperature in Churachandpur district was 5.44 while the maximum was 27.53 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Imphal East district was 8.74 degree Celsius while the maximum was recorded at 28.31 degree Celsius.

Imphal West district recorded a minimum temperature of 6.64 degree Celsius and a maximum of 24.58 degree Celsius.

In Kakching district, the minimum temperature was 9.47 degree Celsius while the maximum was 24.28 degree Celsius.

Kangpokpi district recorded a minimum temperature of 6.36 degree Celsius and a maximum of 24.38 degree Celsius.

In Noney district, the minimum temperature was 10.19 degree Celsius while the maximum was 28.11 degree Celsius.

Senapati district recorded a minimum temperature of 4.58 degree Celsius while its maximum was 24.11 degree Celsius.

The minimum temperature in Tamenglong district was 7.8 degree Celsius while the maximum was 25.84 degree Celsius.

Tengnoupal district recorded a minimum temperature of 10.78 degree Celsius while its maximum was 28.84 degree Celsius.
