Medical board constituted for MR/IRB medical fitness test

Medical fitness examination to be conducted daily from 8 am to 5 pm with effect from November 22.

The Manipur Police Department has constituted three medical boards comprising Medical Officers to conduct Medical Fitness examination of 183 who were kept on the waiting list and recommended for appointment as Riflemen in MR/IRB in Manipur Police Department.

As per an order from the Director General of Police, Manipur signed by K Jayanta Singh, Inspector General of Police (Adm.), the 1st Board consists of Dr Md Rakibuddin Shah, MO, 1st IRB, HQ Veng, Churachandpur; 2nd Board consists of Dr S. Nilapadama Singh, MO. 8th MR, Leikun, Chandel and the 3rd Board consist of Dr Golmei Kajairungla, Senior MO, 1st MR, Dr Ng Kilabati, MO, 1st MR and Dr K Dingo Singh, MO, 7th MR.

As per the notification, the 1st Medical Board will sit at the 1st IRB, Unit Hospital, HQ Veng, Churachandpur, the 2nd Medical Board will sit at the 8th MR, Unit Hospital, Leikun, Chandel and the 3rd Medical Board will sit at 1st MR, Unit Hospital, Imphal.

Medical fitness examination will be conducted daily from 8 am to 5 pm with effect from November 22, 2023, the notification stated.

Further, the 1st Medical Board will conduct medical exam in respect of 17 candidates belonging to Churachandpur, Kangpokpi, Tamenglong and Chandel districts; the 2nd Medical Board will conduct medical exam in respect of 22 candidates belonging to Chandel and Tengnoupal districts while the 3rd Medical Board will conduct medical exam in respect of 144 candidates belonging to, Imphal West, Imphal East, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Kamjong. Senapati, Tamenglong and Ukhrul.

The candidates should report to their respective Medical Boards at 1st IRB, 8th Bn. MR and 1st MR Bn. respectively along with relevant documents, two recent passport size photographs and their Blood group certificate from a government recognized Hospital/Clinic.

The Medical Boards will complete the medical examination within three days and should submit the report to PHQ by 25/11/2023.
