May Christmas bring hope and happiness to our state: Manipur Governor La Ganesan

Manipur Governor La Ganesan and ministers extend Christmas wishes to the people of Manipur.

Manipur Governor La Ganesan and ministers extended greetings to the people of the state, especially the Christian brethren on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.

‘Merry Christmas’ to all the people of the state, especially the Christian brothers and sisters in the state, the governor stated in his message.  This is a time to be with family and friends, a time for peace and piety. May Christmas bring hope and happiness to our state, he mentioned.

“We remember the noble teachings of Jesus Christ and recall his efforts towards creating a compassionate and equal society. I wish Christmas to be celebrated by all in its true form and spirit,” he further stated.

Agriculture Minister Oinam Lukhoi Singh extended his greetings on the occasion by recalling that the day is celebrated all over the world with joy and fervor, and the occasion marks a time to rejoice and reflect the noble teachings of Lord Jesus Christ.

“I hope this festival nurtures peace and prosperity, and helps strengthen oneness in our society. Let us all follow Christ's teachings of love, compassion, and charity, with a firm commitment towards the welfare of our state and our country,” he stated in his message.  

Works Minister Th Biswajit Singh also conveyed his warm wishes by stating that Lord Jesus was a true messenger of the Almighty sent with the objective to bring a new world order based on truth, humility, sacrifice, equality, compassion, and peace.

“On this year's Christmas celebration, let us renew the spirit of brotherhood, peace and unity and spread his preaching of peaceful co-existence among all communities. May this Christmas bring the State joy and happiness,” he stated in his message.

Education Minister S Rajen Singh extended greetings to all the people on the occasion.

“This is really a golden moment to be with family members and friends. May this festival bring peace, prosperity and a COVID-19 free country. We remember the noble teachings of Lord Jesus Christ who personified love and forgiveness. Wishing one and all a very special Merry Christmas,” he stated in his message.

Extending his wishes on the occasions, Forest minister Awangbow Newmai stated, “May this Christmas bring joy, love and peace. May it also further strengthen the bonds of amity in our society. Let us renew our commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ and spread the values of compassion, love and sacrifice for humanity,” he added in his message.

Employment Minister Th Satyabrata Singh greeted everyone on the occasion and stated “with the coming of this festive season, I wish that our lives be filled with love, happiness, positive energy and good vibes. Let's follow Lord Jesus's teachings of humanity, compassion, non-violence, and peaceful-coexistence and build a better society.”
