Market shed inaugurated at Rangkhung village

Rangkhung Market Shed was donated with an aim for the social and economical upliftment, BJP intending candidate Huri Golmei said.

Inauguration and dedication of Rangkhung Market Shed programme was held at Rangkhung Village under Noney district on Thursday.

The market shed was inaugurated by BJP intending candidate Huri Golmei in the presence of Tamenglong ADC former member Kaniangmei Riamei and Village Authority/Peih/Youth leaders of Rangkhung Villages. 

The newly constructed market shed was dedicated to the Almighty God by Rangkhung-1 Baptist Church pastor Thonimei Kamei. 

Speaking on the occasion, Huri Golmei mentioned and highlighted his manifesto including women empowerment, alternative arrangements of jhum cultivation especially for Tamenglong and Noney district, Education sector, medical, transportation and connectivity.

He believes that the party ticket (BJP) will be allotted to him and he will surely be elected in the upcoming election 2022 with all the massive support, he added.

He further said that Rangkhung Market Shed was donated with an aim for the social and economical upliftment. The construction was done by Kalanchong Kamei special contractor Tribeni Privated Limited, he said.

The general public of Rangkhung Villagers expressed their gratitude towards Huri Golmei and special contractor Kalanchong Kamei for constructing the much needed market shed at the right time.

This will provide a livelihood especially to the womenfolk of Rangkhung as they can sell their products as it is also easily accessible from their farms.

Rangkhung Village Khullakpa R Chamei gave the welcome note and assisted with the presentation and gifts for the special dignitaries.
