Manipur's Maibam Eteen Meitei awarded Bharatiya Seva Ratna

Maibam Eteen Meitei, a social activist from Manipur, was presented with the Bharatiya Seva Ratna Award in acknowledgement of his humanitarian works.

Manipur's Maibam Eteen Meitei has been awarded Bharatiya Seva Ratna by Padma Shri Awardee Gaddam Padmaja Reddy and Global Scholar Foundation Pune, India president Sunil Belgave.

Maibam Eteen Meitei, son of late Maibam Kulla Meitei and Maibam Ibemmu Leima from Thoubal Kshetri Leikai, was presented with the award in acknowledgement of his humanitarian works. He had been working for the conservation and promotion of Manipuri literature, art, culture, games and sports.

Bharatiya Seva Ratna Award 2022 was presented by Global Scholar Foundation Pune to outstanding personalities who had made major contributions for the development of the society.

Maibam Eteen had also received many awards such as Inspiring Coffee Table Book 2022, Dr Ambedkar Distinguished Service National Award 2021, and Humanity Achiever Award 2021.

He is a member of the Like Minded Group, Manipur, and a patron member of the Ipak Films Production, Manipur as well.
