Manipur's Hybrid Solar Project to be completed soon, says MLA Haokholet Kipgen

After its completion, the Hybrid Solar Project will be inaugurated by the state chief minister, MLA Haokholet Kipgen said.

Manipur's Hybrid Solar Project of Hengbung, which is the first of its kind, will be handed over to public soon, said MLA Haokholet Kipgen, who is also chief of Hengbung village, Senapati district.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh, Saitu assembly constituency will become one of the most developed assembly constituencies in the state, Kipgen said.

The MLA was speaking during the 75th Platinum Jubilee of Hengbung Baptist Church, Senapati district held at its church complex Wednesday. It is a big achievement for Hengbung villagers that Hengbung Baptish Church has completed 75 years, he said.

With the ongoing Sangai Festival, chief minister and other ministers are not able to attend the function but under the leadership of the chief minister, he assured to make Saitu assembly constituency one of the most developed assembly constituencies in the state.

The Hybrid Solar Project will be inaugurated by chief minister after its completion, the MLA said and appealed to the people of the assembly constituency to protect the natural resource of the area

As a part of the celebration, a monolith, donated by the family members of the MLA, was inaugurated.

Church Pastor HBC, Reverent Letkhothong Haokip; former general secretary of Manipur Baptist Church, Reverend, V Sitlhou and others participated as dignitaries of the function.
