Koutruk village under Lamshang Police Station in Imphal West, Manipur continues to remain a target of Kuki Militants as the village is attacked with gunshots and bombs in regular intervals.

Kuki militants launched another round of attacks on the Meitei village around 9.15 pm on Monday.
The village came under a barrage of gunshots and bombs from the Kuki militants.

The state forces and village volunteers, who have been guarding the village, retialated to the onslaught. The exchange of gunfire continues at the time of filing this report. No casualties have been reported.
