The Manipur government on Saturday issued an order for the transfer and posting of 18 IPS/MPS officers with immediate effect and until further orders in public interest.
As per the order issued by Special Secretary (DP), Government of Manipur, Ningthoujam Geoffrey in the name of the Governor, DIG (Range-II) and DIG (INT) in addition, Yogeshchandra Haobijam has been posted as DIG (Range-II); Maharabam Pradip Singh, posted as Sr. SP/Jiribam has been posted as i/c DIG (Int); Lenin Lamabam posted as i/c CO/6 MR has been posted as i/c Spl. AIG (Ops).
It also stated that Bembem Nongthombam presently posted as i/c SP/CID (Tech) has been transferred as i/c Spl. AIG (Ops); Lunkhomang Khongsai posted as Dy. CO/1 IRB to look after as CO/1 IRB has now been posted as I/c Spl. AIG (Housing) and attached to SP/Pherzawl; Khuplen Lhouvum posted as i/c PRO (Manipur Police) has been posted as i/c CO/1 IRB.
The order also mentioned that Wungpam Kasar currently posted as i/c SP/Traffic has been posted as i/c PRO (Manipur Police); while K Dilip Singh posted as i/c CO/7 IRB has been posted as i/c CO/6 IRB; Leena Yumnam who is i/c Spl AIG (Provisions) has been posted as i/c SP/CID (Tech); Thokchom Shangkar Deba Singh who is i/c of CO/6 IRB has been posted as i/c CO/6 MR; additional SP (LO)/Kamjong, Seemi Ramror has been posted as i/c CO, 7 IRB.
While, Pramesh Arambam presently posted as Additional SP(LO) IE has been posted as i/c SP/Traffic; Khamnam Robinsun posted as Addl. SP/CID (SB) has been posted as i/c SP/Jiribam; Rojit Irom who is Dy. CO/6 IRB & Addl AIG(HQ/Ops), PHQ is now posted as Addl. SP (LO), IW; Okram Wangkhomba, posted as ASP (LO)/IW has been posted as Addl. SP(LO)/Kamjong.
It added that Rajkumari Tinaluxmi currently posted as ASP/CID(SB) has now been posted as ASP/CID(SB) ans ASP(Adm)/IW in addition; Yumnam Joyraj posted as Addl. SP (Traffic)/IW & Addl. SP (Adm.)/IW in addition has been posted as Dy. CO/7 IRB and Pukhram Shanker presently posted as Dy. CO/2nd IRB has been transferred as Additional SP(LO)/IE.
It also notified that the officers shall take charge of their new posts within 48 hours.
