The memorandum was signed by president of JAC of AMTUC and AMGEO Ch Chandramani Singh. It demanded an immediate release of the backlog salaries of employees for May.

The resolution to make the demand was unanimously taken during a joint meeting of executive councils and representatives of various departments at the JAC’s office located at Sanjenthong on Saturday.

“The JAC has also taken a very serious note on the attitude of the government towards the unjust and partial treatment meted out to its employees in regard to payment of monthly salaries and consider it as an attempt of dividing the employees’ community,” it stated.
