Manipur State Minority Commission calls for peace talk

The Manipur State Minorities Commission on Sunday condemned the ongoing violent crisis in the state and called for a peace talk to bring an inclusive solution for the restoration of peace in Manipur.

A release issued by Manipur State Minorities Commission chairman Md Anwar Hussain stated that the ongoing communal riot in the state began from the sudden outburst of emotional actions on the sides of both parties.

In order to restore peace in the state, a peace yalk with a solution which is inclusive for all the communities is necessary, it added.

It appealed to the two confronting communities of the ongoing communal riot in the state to let go resentments and strive for the restoration of the brotherly love among the different communities in the state.
