The Manipur State Kala Akademi (MSKA) will be organising the inauguration of its Golden Jubilee celebration as well as the presentation ceremony for Akademi Awards for the year 2020 (2018-2020) on Thursday at the Auditorium of Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal.

Governor La Ganesan, who is also the chairman of the Akademi, will grace the function as chief guest and Chief Minister N Biren Singh, who is also the vice-chairman of the Akademi, will preside over the function, said MSKA in a release.

Altogether 27 distinguished individuals, belonging to different fields of performing arts, literature and fine arts, will be presented with the prestigious Akademi fellows, Akademi Awards and Akademi Young Talent Award, it stated.
