Taking into account the grim situation in Jiribam district, Manipur Security Advisor, Kuldiep Singh paid a visit to Jakuradhor Karong under the jurisdiction of Borobekra Police Station in Jiribam district on Saturday.

Sources said that the Security Advisor visited the strife-hit district via chopper from Imphal around 10.45 am.
Upon reaching, he inspected various places including Jakuradhor Karong, where the horrific incident took place. He also visited the relief camp opened at Borobekra Police Station and interacted with the villagers.

Kuldiep Singh later departed for Imphal from Borobekra around 11.45 am.
