Manipur Public School alumni donate oxygen cylinders

Manipur Public School, 1997 Batch of Class XII, stated that 6 D-type 52 litre filled oxygen cylinders were donated to RIMS and JNIMS (three cylinders for each hospital).

As a precautionary measure for COVID-19 patients, various people and groups have been donating oxygen cylinders to the state government. Continuing the initiative to help hospitals in saving lives, alumni of Manipur Public School donated oxygen cylinders to RIMS and JNIMS on Sunday.

A release by Manipur Public School, 1997 Batch of Class XII stated that 6 D-type 52 litre filled oxygen cylinders were donated to RIMS and JNIMS (three cylinders for each hospital).

The alumni group of the school has members from different communities. The initiative has been taken with an objective to provide assistance during the hue and cry raised over the need for adequate oxygen supply in the hospitals, it added.

It further stated that the alumni group will coordinate with the state’s health department and will be donating basic amenities or requirements from time to time.
