Breaking the culture of 'taking bribes from candidates', farmers of Pungdongbam GP under Lamlai assembly constituency gifted 192 bags of paddy seeds to the lone BJP intending candidate of Lamlai assembly constituency Kh Ibomcha on Tuesday.

Speaking to the media, a farmer Irungbam Prem said that if the voters elect the rightful leader without taking any bribes, there will be development in the assembly constituency.

The state of backwardness of an assembly constituency in terms of development while the elected representative becomes richer is a result of exchanging the valuable votes with money, he pointed out.

The farmers appealed to all the voters of Manipur to refrain from taking bribes during voting and instead use their vote wisely to appoint the rightful leader.
