Governor of Manipur La Ganesan on Monday visited the ambush casualties at Shija hospitals, Langol and Assam Rifles Multispecialty Hospital of Head Quarter Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukhri.

La Ganesan interacted with the casualties, enquired about their health condition, gave presents and wished them for quick recovery. Presently, four injured persons are undergoing treatment at General Male Medicine Ward and one at ICU of Shija Hospital while another personnel at AR Multispecialty Hospital of IGAR (South).

Mention may be made that the unfortunate incident took place at Behiang T village, Singhat Sub-Division, Churachandpur district on on Saturday where the commanding officer of 46 Assam Rifles with his wife and son and four others were killed.
