Manipur Governor La Ganesan has been admitted at a hospital in Chennai after he complained of chest discomfort, official sources said.
According to a statement issued by the Raj Bhavan, Imphal, the governor was admitted to MGM Hospital, Chennai on October 1 with a complaint of chest discomfort.
Ganesan, who is also the governor of West Bengal, is in observation at the Cardiac Care Unit and is now stable. Raj Bhavan said in its statement.
Further intervention of coronary angiogram with revascularisation is planned on Wednesday, October 5, it added.
