Manipur Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, visited Senapati district headquarters on Friday and celebrated Diwali with CRPF jawans there.
Governor wished the officers and the jawans a happy Diwali and also wished them a happy life. He distributed sweets and attended the Barakhana with CRPF jawans.
He inaugurated an Exhibition cum Traditional Food Buffet held with a theme of Peace through Culture and Identity at the Astro Turf Ground at the district headquarters. The programme was organised by Manipur North Economic Development Association, (MANEDA). Governor also witnessed a spectacular performance shown by specially-abled children and women folk.
He also interacted with representatives of CSOs at the office of the Deputy Commissioner at Senapati. Upon arrival at the district headquarters, he was accorded a warm welcome by the DC Senapati, Mamoni Doley.
