The Manipur government on Monday announced that disciplinary proceedings are contemplated against i/c chief engineer of Minor Irrigation department, Manipur H Brajendra Singh and he is suspended with immediate effect.
The suspension order was issued in the name of the governor by deputy secretary Asem Rangina Chanu in exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 10 (1), (a) of the CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965.
It ordered that during the period of suspension, the headquarters of H Brajendra will be Imphal and he should not leave the said headquarters without obtaining permission of the competent authority.
