A team of Nongpok Sekmai Police Station conducted liquor drive on Wednesday at Langmeithet Mayai Leikai and seized 9 litre of DIC liquor from one individual namely Maibam Ibochouba, 48, son of M Nokul of Langmeithet Mayai Leikai and handed over to OC Nongpok Sekmai PS by observing necessary formalities, said a police source.

Meanwhile, another team of Nongpok Sekmai Police Station under the supervision of its OC, conducted liquor drives in and around Ukhongsang areas. During the Drive, the team seized 10 litre of DIC liquor from the residence of one liquor seller namely Thokchom Maniton Singh, 55, son of late Amumacha of Ukhongsang Mamang Leikai, the source added.
