Jeeten further expressed belief that if the speaker respects the Indian Constitution and follows the rules and regulation of the Indian Constitution, then he will not take time on disqualifying them.

Responding to a query concerning the disqualification of 11 MLAs, Jeeten said that the Supreme Court had fixed December 9 for the governor of Manipur to issue a response. On December 9, the Supreme Court will decide according to the situation, he added.
