Manipur Congress president N Loken files nomination for Manipur polls

Manipur Congress leader N Loken on Saturday filed his nomination as an INC candidate from Nambol Assembly Constituency in Bishnupur district for the 12th Manipur Assembly election.

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president N Loken on Saturday filed his nomination as an INC candidate from Nambol Assembly Constituency for the 12th Manipur Assembly election.

Loken filed his nomination paper at the office of RO 24-Nambol AC Khumukcham Renuka in Bishnupur district on the fifth day of nomination of papers for the ensuing state general elections to be held in two phases - on February 27 and March 3.

Nomination papers will be received till February 8 and scrutiny of nomination papers will be taken up on February 9, while the last date for withdrawal of candidature is February 11, the CEC said.
