Manipur Congress, MPDF extend Gaan Ngai greetings

Manipur Congress extended well wishes for the festival to bring peace, prosperity and unity to the people of the state.

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) extended well wishes to the people of the state especially the Kabui community on the occasion of the Gaan Ngai festival which falls on Wednesday.

A release by MPCC stated that the Gaan Ngai festival is the largest harvest festival of the Kabui community. The festival is celebrated by the Kabui community who follow the religion, thanking their deity for the year’s harvest and praying for the abundance of harvest in the year ahead, it continued. It also extended well wishes for the festival to bring peace, prosperity and unity to the people of the state.

Manipur Peoples’ Democratic Front (MPDF) also conveyed greetings to the people of the state especially the Kabui community on the auspicious occasion. In a release, MPDF extended well wishes for the Gaan-Ngai celebration to bring impartial love, joy and prosperity to all the people of the state.
