Manipur Chief minister N Biren Singh held several meetings with different departments at CM’s Secretariat on Thursday, holding deliberations on a range of matters and issues concerning their activities.

N Biren chaired successive meetings with Manipur Minorities and OBC Economic Development Society (MOBEDS), the department of Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS), Public Works Department (PWD) and with Member of Infrastructure from the Railway Board.

He posted about the series of meetings on social media.

He posted on X, “Chaired a General Body Meeting of MOBEDS at my secretariat office today. Assessed the implementation of developmental schemes, infrastructure, and welfare projects etc for assisting the development & growth of minority communities, OBCs and SCs in the state.”

Another post read, “Chaired the review meeting of the Youth Affairs and Sports (YAS) at my Secretariat.
Discussed on the initiatives taken up under the department, means to enhance community engagement, and the promotion of sports and youth activities.”

He further posted, “Chaired a review meeting of the Public Works Department (PWD) at my secretariat office today. Assessed the status of various infrastructure projects across the state, while reviewing the measures to facilitate the smooth functioning of the department to ensure last-mile delivery of development works.”

He also posted, “Held a meeting with the Member of Infrastructure from the Railway Board at my Secretariat. Deliberated on completion of the railway projects in our state efficiently, with the highest standards of safety and quality. The progress of these projects will play a crucial role in the economic growth of Manipur and enhance the quality of life for our people.”
