Manipur CM Biren hosts 'hearty breakfast' for Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh

Manipur Chief Minister on Friday took to Twitter and and in a series of tweets, he expressed his delight in hosting a "hearty breakfast" for Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh at his residence. The Union minister was accompanied by several state ministers, MLAs, COAS and senior party functionaries.

"Delighted to host Shri@rajnathsingh Ji for a hearty breakfast at my residence in presence of Hon’ble Ministers, MLAs, COAS and Senior party functionaries," Biren tweeted along with pictures.

The chief minister said he sought the guidance of the Defence minister on various important matters of the state and expressed gratitude.

"It was an absolute pleasure to have Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri @rajnathsingh Ji at my residence today and sought his guidance on various important matters of the state. Immensely grateful for his continuous support all throughout," Biren said in another tweet on Friday.

The Defence minister was on a visit to Imphal for the Inaugural ceremony of the Durand Cup 2022. He inaugurated the Imphal edition on Thursday evening. He also visited the IGAR South HQ in Imphal and interacted with over 1,000 troops on Friday morning. Addressing the troops, he urged them to take pride in their service to the nation and to go beyond service.
