Manipur CM Biren flags off ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ bike rally

The 40-km Tiranga Bike Rally to Moirang was participated by thousands of youth, including police personnel.

As part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, Manipur Chief Manipur N Biren Singh flagged off a bike rally from Hatta Kangjeibung in Imphal on Wednesday.

The 40-km Tiranga Bike Rally to Moirang was participated by thousands of youth, including police personnel.

The rally which was organised by Manipur police and sports department, designed to promote national unity and patriotism, featured participants riding through the city with the Indian Flag prominently displayed.
Participants decorated their bikes with national flags, ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ stickers and held placards as they travelled to Chingei Lampak, Bishnupur district.

CM Biren appealed to the people of the state to contribute in building a strong and united India as well as Manipur.

He welcomed and appreciated all the participants for joining the bike rally during the crucial time prevailing in the state.

DGP Manipur, Rajiv Singh, stated that the rally was organised as entrusted by the CM.

The bike rally passed through certain areas of Imphal, then through Nambol, Bishnupur ending at the Indian National Army complex, Moirang.

Altogether, 24 motorcycle riders organisations and clubs comprising more than 1200 riders, including riders from Manipur Police and Youth Affairs and Sports Department took part in the rally.
