Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday congratulated all BJP candidates named for the Manipur Assembly Election 2022, and exuded confidence that the party will come back to power with absolute majority.
"Congratulations to all the BJP candidates for Manipur Assembly Election 2022. With Hon'ble PM Sh.@narendramodi Ji and BJP National President Sh @JPNadda Ji’s guidance, I am confident that the@BJP4India will come back with an absolute majority in the upcoming assembly election," the chief minister tweeted.
The BJP leadership on Sunday announced the names of party candidates for all 60 assembly constituency seats in the state. The list of those in fray included several new faces and three women candidates.
Concerning the question of alliance, the BJP president said on Saturday that it will be decided only after the declaration of election results and based on the instruction of the party high command.
