A modified shell which was allegedly fired by suspected Kuki militants a few days ago at Moidangpok Khullen under Patsoi Police Station in Imphal West district was disposed off on Wednesday night around 8.20 pm.

Following the disposal of the shell by the Bomb Disposal Squad, it is reported that the CRPF station on the hill behind Moidangpok Khullen fired a few rounds of gunshots. 

It is reported that farmers of Moidangpok Khullen going to the field came across the modified shell.
