The Agniveer recruitment drive for shortlisted candidates of Manipur will be held for various districts across the state and the scheduled dates of recruitment have been announced.
The recruitment drive will be held from August 28 to 30 in Senapati, and it will be held from September 3 to 5 for Imphal East while the drive will be held from September 9 to 11 for Churachandpur, stated a release.
The shortlisted candidates can now download their admit cards from the Joint Indian Army website using their registered ID and password, it mentioned.
If any candidate is facing difficulties in downloading their admit cards from the JIA, they can contact ARO Rangapahar at 03862-249012 and 7628023484, it stated.
It also cautioned the candidates to beware of fraudulent activities.
No one can get recruited in the Indian Army without passing the written, physical, and medical examination, it stated. If you can qualify, then there is no need to pay the agents who have no control over one’s results, it stated.
It further said that the selection in Indian Army is purely merit based and if any tout/agent claims to help in recruitment then he or she is a fraud, it stated.
The candidates are requested to provide information to the nearest army unit/headquarters, Manipur Police Station and Army recruitment office, Rangapahar about such fraudulent activities, it added.
Meanwhile, Kangpokpi district magistrate Mahesh Chaudhari announced that the Army Recruitment Rally for physical and medical-test for the Shortlisted Candidates will be held at Senapati from August 28 to 30.
A notice stated that the recruitment rally will be under Agnipath Scheme and will provide job opportunities to the youth of Kangpokpi District and help them become part of the prestigious Indian Army.
For details of enrollment under Agnipath scheme the candidates may visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, it mentioned.
The recruitment rally for Kangpokpi District, Senapati District, Ukhrul District and Kamjong District will be held at Senapati from August 28 to 30, it mentioned.
