MSPDCL general manager (Commercial), Ng Kirankumar Singh, in a release said that officials of MSPDCL continued raids to check power theft in various areas, during which they were arrested.

The arrestees included three from Churachandpur division area; two from IED-2 division area; three each from IED-3, IED-4, Thoubal and Bishnupur division areas, it mentioned.

It also stated that MSPDCL has disconnected power lines of 19 LT consumers for failing to clear their dues. MSPDCL will continue similar drives to check electricity theft, it added.
