In an unfortunate incident, a man identified as one Siwangbou Daimei, 29-year-old, son of Kingliamang Daimei from Duithanlong Ward No V drowned in a dam at Khoupilong Ward No V in Tamenglong district on Saturday. He is survived by his wife and parents. 

A video clip about the incident went viral on social media. The dam water was meant for drinking water. Against warning, they took advantage of the lack of security guard from the concerned authority and dived into the dam, sources said.
