A two-day 3rd Annual Conference of Manipur Branch of the Association of the Otolaryngologists of India (MABAOICON), 2023 was inaugurated at the Jubilee Hall, Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Lamphel, Imphal West on Saturday.
The programme was organised by the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, RIMS, Imphal in collaboration with Manipur Branch of the Association of the Otolaryngologists of India.
The conference was inaugurated by director of RIMS, professor Dr Priyosakhi.
Speaking on the occasion, director of RIMS, Dr Priyosakhi, said organising such a conference is much needed as it not only boosts the academic knowledge but also gives an opportunity for exchanging ideas among the doctors.
Professor Dr Th Sudhiranjan, as president of the function, said the number of ENT doctors in the state are less. However, the doctors could fulfil the needs of the public if there is cooperation among the ENT doctors.
Managing Director and Senior Consultant of K.K.R ENT Hospital & Research Institute, Kilpauk, Dr Ravi Ramalingam; ENT Specialist, Visakhapatanam, Dr SKE Apparao attended the function as guest faculties.
