A one-day legal awareness programme organised by District Legal Services Authority Tamenglong was held at Legal Literacy Club, Khangsinlung Higher Secondary School, Noney district on Wednesday.

The programme sponsored by Manipur State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority was attended by District Legal Services Authority, Tamenglong Secretary Laishram Rina Devi as resource person who spoke on the topic National Legal Services Authority (Legal Services to Victims of Drug Abuse and Eradication of the Drug Menace) Scheme.

Resource persons, assistant professors Kh Rajlakshmi and Nongthombam Meena of Royal Academy of Law Oinam, also spoke on the topics National Legal Services Authority (Legal Services for Differently-abled Children) Scheme, 2021 and Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking respectively.
