Lamp Lighting, capping ceremony held for nursing students in Churachandpur

Tunnu School of Nursing, Churachandpur district on Thursday organised lamp lighting and capping ceremony for its 5th batch student cum felicitation programme for the 2nd batch student at Pearsonmun, Churachandpur.

Tunnu School of Nursing, Churachandpur district on Thursday organised lamp lighting and capping ceremony for its 5th batch student cum felicitation programme for the 2nd batch student at Pearsonmun, Churachandpur. As a part of the occasion, 30 students were capped after which they took the Nightingale pledge. Tunnu School of Nursing chairman Dr Chinkholian Guite reminded them that “Tunnu” means “Mother” and encouraged the students to live up to the name of the institution by being different from their peers and provide motherly care in their services. The programme of one of the three general nursing and midwifery colleges in Churachandpur district, was attended by the managing committee of the college, Manipur Nursing Council registrar Th Nandarani Devi and other relevant individuals.
