The Health Ministry on Wednesday announced that the additional charge for the post of RIMS director (without financial benefits) had been entrusted to RIMS Obstetrics and Gynaecology professor L Ranjit Singh.
An order issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India stated that the additional charge for the post of RIMS director had been entrusted to RIMS Obstetrics and Gynaecology professor L Ranjit Singh for a period of six months till April 11 of 2023 or till a regular RIMS director is appointed.
It stated that the entrustment of charge is subject to the approval of the appointment committee of cabinet and vigilance clearance.
“This issue supersedes the Health Ministry’s order of even number dated October 12, 2022,” it added.
