In addition, CoTU cautioned against drawing conclusions or propagating ethno-centric narratives targeting any specific community. The committee emphasized the need to avoid escalating tensions between the Kuki-Zo and Meitei communities and called for patience until official confirmation of the incident is provided by competent authorities.

The committee also urged all stakeholders to act responsibly in this sensitive situation.
