KSO Sadar Hills expands its executive members, adopts various resolutions

The newly elected office bearers of the Kuki Students' Organisation (KSO) Sadar Hills expanded its executive members on Tuesday at its administrative office building at Kangpokpi DHQs.

Kamgougin Lunkim and Thangrijoy Baite were inducted as vice-presidents while Paojangam Haokip, Seikholen Doungel, Thangmoilen Haokip and Lamlunmang Gangte were inducted as Information and Publicity secretary, Assistant Information and Publicity secretary, Forest and Environment secretary and Legal secretary, respectively.

The newly inducted members were administered oath by the president of KSO Sadar Hills.

The student body minutely deliberated on the opening of educational institutions in the district and finally resolved to appeal to the state government to prepare a new SOP for opening of schools in the district.

Considering the prolonged closure of schools and so as to promote a competitive mindset among the students after the opening of the schools, the student body decided to confer cash rewards and certificates to those top mark securing students. It has also decided that students of Class X and XII securing positions in top 1 to 5 shall be given a cash reward of Rs 20,000 each with KSO Certificate while those securing positions in top 6 to 10 shall be awarded with a cash reward of Rs 10,000 each with KSO Certificate.

Deliberating on the issue of JNV, the student body has resolved that KSO Sadar Hills shall take befitting action to any educational institutions within the district if found issuing fake certificates for entry in the JNV.
