The union also appealed to make Manipur state free from recurrence of communal violence in the future. The violence make our state look barbaric in the eyes of others and spoils everything. It appealed to all communities to be considerate towards each other.

“The Union shared the pains and griefs of the internally displaced persons and bereaved family members who got killed and missing untraceably and prayed to the Almighty to give the strength to bear their pains and grief and relief to them,” As per Serto Lalkhomang Kom, president, Komren Union.

Lastly, the union appeals to the governments of India and Manipur to do the needful to enable internally displaced persons to return to their original respective places and settle peacefully by making adequate security measures and restoring communal harmony, Serto Lalkhomang Kom stated.
