Manipur Khadi and Village Industries Board on Thursday notified that the board is organising a state level exhibition under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) at Manipur Trade and Expo Centre, Lamboikhongnangkhong from February 24 to March 2.
A notice issued by Manipur Khadi and Village Industries Board chief executive officer Md S Daulat Khan informed all the PMEGP beneficiaries/intending beneficiaries, various khadi institutions and village industries in the state about the exhibition. It is sponsored by the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Union MSME Ministry, it stated.
Application for opening stalls of Khadi and Village Industries related products and food stalls can be availed from the board’s office or its website www.kvibmanipur.in and the applications are to be submitted to the office by February 16, it stated.
Allocation of stalls will be done by the exhibition committee depending upon the availability of stalls, which will then be displayed on the notice board of the office and uploaded to its website on February 18, it added.
