Kh Ratankumar Singh appointed as Manipur Congress working president

Kh Ratankumar Singh submitted his resignation from the post of vice-president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday.

Ahead of the state Assembly election, the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) on Monday appointed Kh Ratankumar Singh as its working president soon after he stepped down as its vice-president.

Singh's appointment as MPCC working president has been excepted by the All India Congress Committee (AICC). He submitted his resignation from the post of vice-president of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee on Sunday.

Singh told reporters at the Congress Bhawan in Imphal on Sunday that he had resigned as MPCC vice-president but not from the party.
