The people of Kharkhola greeted the MLA as she arrived at the inaugural site accompanied by former ADC Sadar Hills member Milan Pradhan and other Gorkha leaders.

In his keynote address, Kharkhola Youth Club president Navin Chhetry said, “For the past almost 50 years our village Kharkhola has been neglected and deprived of all development till the election of the present local MLA Nemcha Kipgen as the public representative in 2012.”

“Let alone the playground, there was no road, no light, no sustainable water supply, etc. but now we have road, proper power connection and water connection in every household is on the pipeline with the concern and help of the local MLA,” he said.

He also pointed out that our local MLA Nemcha Kipgen attending the inaugural ceremony of the village ground is a historic moment for the people of Kharkhola as no elected MLA so far never visited the village nor attended a function in the village.

“Once the neglected village has now begun to see its bright day with a sincere MLA,” Navin said. He also assured that the people of Kharkhola will vote and make her their representatives in the ensuing 2022 election to bring more development to the village.
