The declaration of support and blessing programme for BJP state executive member and intending candidate of Tamenglong (ST) assembly constituency Huri Golmei was held at Kahulong village in Tamenglong district on Wednesday.
The programme was organised by Kahulong Peih/Village Authority in favour of Huri Golmei in connection with the forthcoming Legislative Assembly 2022.
Chairman Kahulong Village Authority Kiuringanang Gonmei gave the welcome speech on behalf of all the villages of Kahulong.
Act of declaration and document was handed over to Huri Golmei by Kiuringanang Gonmei who announced that Kahulong Village unanimously resolved to support Huri Golmei in the forthcoming 12th Manipur General Election 2022.
During the programme Huri Golmei expressed his gratitude to the people of Tamenglong assembly constituency for extending their support. He further expressed his gratitude to the Kahulong Village Authority and Villagers of Kahulong for supporting him.
Ajei Kamei and Lulu Gangmei performed special songs during the event.
As part of the programme, sports materials were donated for Kahulong Youth Club by Huri Golmei while blankets and clothes were also distributed to all the elders. Biodegradable hand bags were also distributed to all the villagers and those who attended the event.
Former BJP Manipur president Bhorot Singh, BJP Tamenglong in charge Yumjao Singh and BJP Member H Nando Singh along with ADC Member Kaniangmei Riamei, Poukinlung Gangmei, Shanthuiyang Pamei, Pr Guisinang and Lungsangai Panmei ADC Intending Candidate attended the programme.
Kahulong Village Authority leaders, Youth Wings, Women Society, senior politicians, social workers, Well wisher, Village Authority leaders from all the ADC Segment under Tamenglong assembly constituency also attended the programme.
