A Boundary pillar was erected along the border of Wainem Kabui village and Bungte Chiru Village of Kangpokpi district on Tuesday with the aim to strengthen the relationship between the villagers without any misunderstanding.

The boundary pillar was erected by the chief of Wainem Kabui Village Pei (Court) Khomba Golmei and village authority chairman of Bungte Chiru Village Thanglenhang Thanga and a deed was also signed in presence of the villagers.

The function was also attended by chief of Tinkhai Khullen Nehiam Haokip, chief of Thangbuh Village Henkholun Haokip Bungte, chief of Chiru Khullen Dareingam Thanga.
