Manipur Congress Leguslative Party leader O Ibobi on Monday said the Bharat Jodo Yatra undertaken by AICC leader Rahul Gandhi is an awakening call against the ill-fated activities of the Narendra Modi government taken up in the interest of some few corporations.
The main aim of the yatra is bringing back the spirit of unanimous unification of all Indians adopted during the fight against the then British imperialism and go for another fight against the dictatorial rule of the Modi-led BJP government, he added.
Ibobi made the statement during the felicitation of two Yatris from Manipur who accompanied Rahul Gandhi in the Bharat Jodo Yatra which successfully covered 12 states and two union territories over a span of five months accomplishing nearly 4,000 kilometres.
