The Yaipha Lamjing Club, (YLC), Dibong Khunou, made the demand for the repair of the road.

General secretary of the club, H Priyananda Singh said the road towards the south of the national highway which leads to Jiri College is in very bad shape, creating a lot of inconveniences to travel.

There were instances of closing the road by villagers in the past while demanding for its repair. However, the authorities never responded practically, he added.
