The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS), Jiribam Branch and MLA Md Ashab Uddin on Saturday condemned Amra Bangali political party for filing a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) to the Supreme Court against the implementation of ILPS in the state.

In a press meet held at office of AMSU District Committee, Jiribam, convenor of JCILPS, Jiribam branch Y Sanjiv urged the local MLAs and the Bengali population of Jiribam district to address and condemn the Amra Bengali political party for filing a PIL to the Supreme Court against the implementation of ILP in the State. He recalled that MLA Md Ashab Uddin had address in the media that the implementation of ILP is to check the influx of illegal immigration and safeguard the population of the state.

The event was attended by members of the women and student wings, and members of JCILPS, Jiribam branch.
