Principal of Institute of Rural Education (IRE) College of Teacher Education, Wangjing Narengbam Rajivkumar has announced that the college is organising its first convocation day on August 30.
In a press meet, Narengbam Rajivkumar said that the IRE which was established in 2010 will honor the 11th batch (2021-2023) of B.Ed. graduates.
Citing the crucial role of teachers in society, Rajivkumar maintained that teachers are the architects of the future. The quality of the society depends on the teachers who guide the next generation.
It is essential to recognise and reward the efforts of these educators. He noted that the upcoming convocation is intended to acknowledge and encourage the teachers who completed their B.Ed. graduates with certificates.
