Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday said that the results of the pending IRB recruitment and other government jobs will be declared soon.
Responding to media query on Sunday at the closing ceremony Sewa Pakhwada, a fortnight of service, celebrated in connection with the birth anniversary of Prime minister Narendra Modi at state BJP office, Nityaipat Chuthek, Imphal, CM Biren assured that the result of pending IRB result will be declared in a short period of time.
There were some misunderstandings during the previous coalition government however, the issues have been solved, he said, adding that not only the pending result of IRB but recruitment results of other government jobs will also be declared within a very short period of time, the CM said.

The recruitment of 10th and 11th IRB was conducted in November of 2019 and since then, calling for declaration of the result had become one of the main issues in the state, so much so that candidates even stormed the residence of CM Biren in July, 2022.
Moreover, during the 2nd session of 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly in July this year, Biren informed the House that the long-awaited result of 10th and 11th Indian Reserve Battalion (IRB) will be declared after the end of the assembly session.
Meanwhile, speaking on the occasion of the conclusion of Sewa Pakhwada, Biren Singh said Sewa Pakhwda is celebrated in connection with the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahbadur Shastri.
He said that to promote local khadi products of Manipur, each member of the BJP state unit is buying at least one Khadi product on the last day of Sewa Pakhwada. People should support ‘vocal for local’ and ‘self-reliant’, and every government office table covers, curtains and others are being replaced with khadi products, Biren added.

As a part of the function floral tributes were paid on the photograph of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.
The CM also said that for Manipuris living in Golaganj, Meghalaya, the Manipur government will send a letter to the Meghalaya government seeking to provide necessary rights to the Manipuri diasporas of Meghalaya that people of Meghalaya are enjoying.
