IPAK condoles demise of Ima Sakh

IPAK stated that the death of Sakhi who played an active role in various social issues is a great loss of the state.

The Indigenous People’s Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) extended condolences on the demise of president, Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup (AMKIL) Phanjoubam Sakhi Leima on Tuesday. In a release, IPAK stated that the death of Sakhi who played an active role in various social issues is a great loss of the state. The association extended deepest condolences to the bereaved family and offered prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace, it stated. The association recalled that Sakhi as a leader, extended major efforts to combat the drug menace in the state, fight to repeal AFSPA from the state, and the stand to protect unity and integrity of the state. “The death of Ima Sakhi is an irreparable loss for the state,” it added.
